I don’t know when I should book you for my invitations?

I’d recommend booking in as soon as possible. Designing your stationery can take longer than you think and I’d give plenty of notice (roughly 6 months before the month of your wedding). For example, if your wedding is in August, you’d ideally want to send them out to your guests in April/May so conversation and the design process would have to start in February.

If you’re also wanting on the day stationery & signage, I recommend booking this at the same time so your date is guaranteed.

What can I customise?

All of my semi-custom designs are to purchase as is, meaning you cannot change the design but as standard all of the wording is customised to suite your day. You can also change the ink colour, foil colour, paper type and we also have a great range of paper colours available. Please take a look at our stationery guide to find out more information.

How many invitations do I need?

Couples often forget that they don’t need 1 invitation per person. I’d always recommend having 1 invitation per household/couple plus an extra 10% for keepsakes and last minute additional guests because ordering more at a later date can be expensive!

What is hot foil?

Your design is made into a magnesium die which is then attached to a hot foil machine and heated up. The design is then pressed onto the card which is sandwiched between the foil and the machine. This leaves a debossed impression in the card. There is a huge choice for paper types and foil colours from metallics, neons through to matts and holographics.

What is the difference between bespoke and semi-custom?

A semi-custom design is using one of my existing designs and I change the information to suit your needs. A bespoke design is started from scratch and is completely unique to you.

How do I order with you?

To place an order please fill out our enquiry form and give me a little bit of information so I know if you have already ordered a sample and want to place an order on that semi-custom design or if you want a completely bespoke design. I’ll also need to know how many you need and the date of your big day!
